HAT

Three-eyed toddler who hates hats. YEP.

June profile

Just playing around. Testing a few things. FAILED AT SOME, succeeded at others.

Chibi Caroline

Cute version of the alien/cow/genetic trainwreck. Awwww.

Melody Rocks Out

HAVE SOME CUTE. I realize there are no strings on that guitar; it was either that or make it look cluttered. I think I made the right choice.

BLAST FROM THE PAST

I apparently doodled this in early 2007. I'm not really sure what I was thinking, but I can say with absolute certainty I wasn't anywhere near anything resembling alcohol at the time.

So I'm not really sure what spawned it.

SUPER ROUGH; action/angle practice.

BEES.

A couple of busts

Both of are the same character; the one on the top was the first draft, the one on the bottom is a little more refined. She's supposed to be this cute little doe-eyed girl; I think the bottom one conveys that better.

FOUND: IN DIGITAL SOFA CUSHIONS

Re: This post:

Found it!

I really do love this sketch more than the newer one. This one has a lot more personality, and I really like the way her briefs/skirt came out.

ACEO #3

Jokeph. The male version. There are so many versions of Jo out there, but "The male one" is unique in that he's, uh. The only male one. ANYWAY. The wingblades look kind of like candy corn when scanned. Messy candy corn. I SWEAR IT LOOKS BETTER IN PERSON.

ACEO #2

Sofi, no BG. Her skin came out a LITTLE too dark.

My first ACEO!

Just a little test to see if I had a steady enough hand to handle a trading card-sized piece of art. I'm not, but that's what practice is for! Once I get the technique down, I'll be able to send little trading cards out to people. :3

The darker side of Lillian Haladet

Aha, now I am not exactly sure where this one came from. But she is definitely a rehashing of this old sketch from six years ago. Yes, it's hard to see. My apologies!

Anyway, the character was always supposed to be rather two-faced; the image she always presented was this happy, bubbly, Barbie-like personality, but there was this darker, almost sinister side to her, too. The kind of person who felt the ends ALWAYS justified the means, even if those means were somewhat amoral.

Her outfit hasn't changed much; the skirt's been narrowed a bit, heels a bit higher, her figure just a bit more... ahem.

This was supposed to have been posted months ago.

Okay, seriously! I could have SWORN I posted this, but I apparently didn't. So when I went to upload a recent sketch? I find this sitting there.

Sofi YET AGAIN! I was trying to figure out what exactly a modest and yet totally playful character like her would wear to the beach. Ruffled skirts were too cutesy, any kind of swim skirt was right out, and wearing a t-shirt over a swimsuit would be out because it would hamper her mobility too much. But then, I SAW THE LIGHT. Springsuit! It may be form fitting AND pants (and Sofi prefers loose clothing and skirts), but for the beach, this is pretty much perfect.
