Basically a Self-Insert

Taffy's sixth grade teacher. Honestly, why not have her be a self-insert? The idea of an agoraphobic teacher who practically lives in the school amuses me. Especially when she sends a dummy of herself to be carried by students on field trips. Especially when that dummy is severely damaged or completely destroyed on every trip.

Especially when she calls in sick and heckles the substitute from the back of the room while the school nurse makes house calls.

And the substitute happens to be the class hamster.

Her name should be Ms. Potts. As in "Pot, meet kettle."

Everyone, I'd like you to meet Tiffany. ACTUALLY, she'd rather you call her "Taffy." Don't call attention to her scrawny chicken legs or big monkey ears. She may be only eleven, but she will kick you rbutt, apparently.

In other news, I've created a monster.

Fun with Animal Crossing

Animal Crossing is horribly addictive. You get a house, pay a mortgage, fill it with furniture, buy new clothes, and make friends with all the animals that move to your town.

You don't get clothes EXACTLY like this (no bangles or boots), but everything else is pretty true to items you can get in-game.

Way cool, daddy-o.

So I got inspired to finally draw this character concept I'd had for a few years. Not a "pretty" character; to put it simply, she's practically a walking corpse. SO I DREW HER. But since it was a "body type" sketch, I can't post it. But I can post this one.

Luna Travoria, from the webcomic Dominic Deegan. I've enjoyed the strip since my college days, but I have never before seen a strip where the fans hate the strip. Sure, they make good points most of the time and they give props when props are due, but it still baffles me.

Concept for Teen Caroline. She kind of reminds me of Summer Moore from Funky Winkerbean, but I assure you the resemblance is unintentional! After all, Summer isn't a genetic trainwreck of alien, cow, and miscellaneous DNA.

Anthropomorphism of one of my kittens, Dizzy. She's a lot easier to doodle than her brother, Chao, since she's a lot more animated in her behavior. She plays harder and cries louder. X3 Very much like an annoying kid sister, no?

Pony Island: Zen

A commission I did for someone on Pony Island. She had a very bright Pegasus pony mage, and that's how I drew him. I didn't like it much at the time, but looking back, I think I did a damn good job.

Sofi- faux watercolor

The dress is based on an actual vintage gown that reminded me of Cinderella's ballgown. Anyway, the inking was meant to be thin and shaky, and the coloring messy. I think it turned out all right.
